'Gladiator of Rome: Short Stories' will be a collection of short stories and bonus chapters around each of the main characters from the first novel in the trilogy; Gladiator of Rome. Each story will be a stand-alone tale and although some of the stories may take place within the time frame that the trilogy is set most of the stories will be focusing on the origins of each character and therefore not in the trilogy. Her name was Athena, but as Glabber and his men captured Spartacus and his wife. But Athena got away. For two weeks she ran before eventually being captured. She was from Dominus to Dominus before eventually landing up by chance in the house of Batiatus. She was untouched. To protect her Oenomaus went to Batiatus and asked for her hand in marriage.
