The first chapter from the first of two epic novels which tell the story of one of the most charismatic heroes history has ever known - Spartacus, the gladiator slave who took on and nearly defeated the might of Rome, during the years 73-71 BC. Historically very little is known about Spartacus. We know that he came from Thrace, a land north of Greece, that he once fought in the Roman legions and that, during two fateful years, he led a slave army which nearly brought Rome to its knees. In Ben Kane's brilliant novel, we meet Spartacus as he returns to Thrace, ready to settle down after a decade away. But a new king has usurped the throne. Treacherous and violent, he immediately seizes Spartacus and sells him to a Roman slave trader looking for new gladiators. The odyssey has begun which will see Spartacus become one of the greatest legends of history, the hero of revolutionaries from Karl Marx to Che Guevara, immortalised on screen, and now brought to life in Ben Kane's great bestseller - a novel which takes the story to its halfway point and is continued in Spartacus: Rebellion.

This is a cheesy fanfiction starring Robbie Rotten and Sporacus. This was not my idea and I am very sorry, but I hope you enjoy it anyways. (I also misspelled Spartacus in the first half of the story so bear with me)

She is a fast learner.” Mayla squeezed my hand in comfort. “I see. So after intruding my land and endangering my clan she is willing to learn, to … obey?” He spoke loudly and full of doubt. Everyone was silent. But then I heard steps on the dirty ground, many feet were shuffling and voices were raised. I heard flesh patting flesh and: “She had not made attempt to run. I might say she wants to be on your good side, my friend.” My headsnapped at the sound of his voice. She was too familiar. I looked directly into dark-brown eyes that were deeper and sadder than the woods I stumbled through on my first days. I could not stop staring into these eyes. Something about him, not only his voice, reminded me of something that happened what felt like an eternity ago. His gaze also lingered on my face, taking in every detail. I wanted to ask him who he was and why he seemed so familiar. But Lorsan’s loud voice interrupted this moment: “Ah, Gannicus, you shall be right. But if her mind changes feel free to tame this beast as you did in the arena.” Both men, and everyone around, laughed at that. My eyes widened in shock, not only because of this obvious threat, but because of the name.

After the 'death' of Spartacus, he awakens. Chained, bloody, and weak, his wounds still fresh. Had Crassus found him before he could pass? No, something was different. As he opened his eyes, Spartacus realized that he was no longer of the world he knew. He was shackled to a wall made of steel thorns and in front of him was an arena like no other...

A group of 8 friends with super powers. They have to fight Dreadlocks to try to save the universe. They go through many rough patches and run into a lot of new monsters along the way. Will they be able to defeat them all and save the universe? Read to find out!

What if when Glabber captured Spartacus and his wife Sura they had someone else with them. Spartacus had a little sister. Her name was Athena, but as Glabber and his men captured Spartacus and his wife. But Athena got away. For two weeks she ran before eventually being captured. She was from Dominus to Dominus before eventually landing up by chance in the house of Batiatus. She was untouched. To protect her Oenomaus went to Batiatus and asked for her hand in marriage. What would happen if they fell in love? Currently on hold
