My story with Selective Mutism.

A shy boy named Nolan has a speaking disorder he was born with that made it hard for him to speak or talk. He is homeschooled up until 6th grade, which is middle school. He's worried that people in middle school will bully him because of his disorder. When he enters middle school, things are already bad for him on the first day! People are calling him The Stutterer, Dumbful, and other and worse names. Who can he rely on, who can he trust, who's going to be on Team Nolan? Meanwhile, he escapes to the Internet to make his own reality. He makes many more friends on the Internet, and Phantom, who is Nolan, never tells anybody about his speaking disorder in fear that nobody would like him. He must lie and go to the edges to keep his secret a secret, but how long will that last for?
