It's been exactly one year since the end-of-summer bonfire that changed everything. One year since the night that left a permanent, aching vacancy in their tight-knit circle. Now, fractured by graduation and drifting into entirely different worlds, five friends are barely holding onto the bond they once took for granted. To mark the painful anniversary, they return to the last place Lucas was seen alive. They aren't looking for answers-only closure. But closure shatters the moment a glint of silver in the deep-water kelp beds reveals his prized signet ring. Lucas didn't just vanish. He was taken. And he left a trail. Suddenly, a somber memorial morphs into a desperate, chaotic manhunt. As the suffocating pressure to uncover the truth intensifies, the fragile cracks in the group split into craters. An explosive confrontation divides them down the middle, forcing lifelong friends onto opposite sides of a frantic, dangerous search. But in a town built on beautiful lies, safety is an illusion. Some secrets are better left buried. Because once you start digging in deep water, you might just drown everyone you ever loved.

My moms in and out of rehab, my dads out on the streets, and my brother is a dope boy. Me ? I keep to myself. I cant trust nobody these days. Yeah, I might be known and people think I'm there friend, but hell I dont fuck with them. My family didnt always use to be this way. When my grandma was living, we use to be a nice household. I also had so called "friends". But it seem like my life went crazy after she died. I don't date often. I dont have time for immature little boys claiming they love me, when in reality then sleeping with some hoes. But I do kinda feel girls though. I guess you can say I'm bisexual. Yes I'm a 16 Year old virgin. Not gonna give up my most prized possesion to a dog.It shows I atleast have repect for myself. I cant stand my teachers, or where I live. L.A California might seem like much, but it sucks. Everyone thinks they're everything here, & I hate that. Claim they "real" when they 99.9% fake. But then once I thought my life couldn't get any worse, someone randomly came into my life and I guess you can say, I was left Speechless. So let me explain to you my life story.

Hayley experienced and incident she will never forget. The moment she was told that her mother was leaving her in the care of her father she decided to commit suicide. Luckily, she was stopped by one person who she truly loved. Not everything in her life went perfect as the person who stopped her ended up dying in front of her eyes. After that incident she has never spoke a word to anyone. When she was taken into care by a lady with four children. Will anyone help her speak again or will she stay speechless forever....
