Rachel has always been a lover of dogs, but her demanding career and life have kept her from realizing her dream of owning one. Now in her mid-40s, she finally adopts Benny, a small black dog who quickly becomes her closest companion and source of happiness. Benny fills Rachel's life with purpose, and together they navigate the peaceful, if somewhat indifferent, neighborhood they call home. But their bliss is short-lived when a violent encounter with a hostile neighbor changes everything. The man, known for his erratic behavior, brutally assaults Benny one day during a walk, leaving Rachel heartbroken and desperate. Despite her efforts, the legal system delivers only a slap on the wrist for the man responsible, and Rachel is left grappling with anger, guilt, and a thirst for justice. As her grief festers, Rachel's pain turns into a dark obsession. No longer content with the law's ruling, she embarks on a dangerous path of revenge, determined to make Benny's attacker suffer. But as her plans spiral out of control, Rachel must confront the monster she's becoming-and the price she's willing to pay for her beloved dog's justice.

Short Poem. Overthinking.

Cindy Svenson seems to have it all together: successful law clerk interning at an NYC law firm, rich trust-fund boyfriend, and the Upper East Side apartment of her dreams. Falling into the pits of darkness

It's a story. Predictable and probably cheesy, but it's on you to find out.

the jagged, frantic thoughts of the anxious, sleep-deprived teenager, arranged into somewhat of a poem. i was having a particularly awful night, so i turned it into art. suck it, brain.

i write to process difficult emotions and these are the results of some late night spiraling thoughts and times when i've lost control.

When a girl with divorced parents becomes an addict three years after her brother got hit by a car and died and her mom started drinking, she becomes distant to others and scaring away people who try to befriend her.

I wrote this poem in less than five minutes in the midst of my dealing with some personal issues. I needed to vent, but I couldn't so the result was this.
