I started out as a little 4 year old girl who lived with a family whose lives were all about volleyball, being pushed to my limits by my hard working sister and finding having a love life difficult. Through all my frustrations and arguments with mama and papa and my sister. Can I make it big? Will my sister's work ethic pay off?

Claire Willows seems to have it all. She's got good grades, good looks, and good friends. But being good at average high school amenities isn't what Claire desires. She desires to further her talent for running and her passion for horses. Claire has worked hard her whole life, dreaming to be competitive in the show jumping circuit. But given all she has already, the world is determined to ground Claire's high flying dreams forever. With interruptions from her friends and the rival barn, Claire is ready to give up her hopes and dreams she has had for so long. Then, her senior year, love is thrown into the mix of distractions. I do a mine race with 3 friends and we find something terrifying, I'm at a school cafeteria feeling unwanted, I'm at track n field with people and we do a race, I'm at home relaxing on the couch with my boyfriend watching family guy.

Lindsay is running in the last stretch of life, where each practice and meet can mean a new life for her, or being trapped in her own body. As her disease worsens, it seems to be that she's already lost this race.

Amelia had finally escaped her family and was looking forward to going to school and being Normal for the first time in her life. Sebastian was learning how to take over for his father while navigating school for the first time. Normally the two would never meet let alone become friends. Then they are told they need to save the world.
