Violet Hayes arrives at Weston University determined to keep her head down. As a shy creative writing major, she's far more comfortable hiding behind notebooks and lyrics than standing in front of people. What almost nobody knows is that Violet has an incredible voice-one she refuses to share because singing has always made her feel too exposed. But when an all-girl campus band called **Afterglow** accidentally hears her singing late one night, everything begins to change. As Violet slowly becomes part of the group, she finds herself pulled into a world of music, friendship, late-night rehearsals, and growing attention she never wanted. At the same time, she forms an unexpected connection with Enzo Moretti, the calm and observant captain of the football team who seems to understand her in ways nobody else does. Caught between fear and passion, Violet must decide whether she'll keep hiding behind her lyrics... or finally let herself be heard. i hope you guys enjoy

Niall Horan needed a change in his life. He needed to do something with it and stop depending on his parents. The latter was easy to do; just move out, which he did. The former wasn't so easy though. Niall would like to do something in the music industry, preferably playing his songs on stage in front of people who appreciated his music. He just had one little problem, that problem being his body freezing, leg shaking, heart stopping stage fight. When Niall moves to London to work on his music he meets a group of boys who seem set on getting Niall up on stage and although he appreciates the effort, he knows their efforts are futile. That is until one night one of them changes that, sort of. He doesn't know what about Zayn makes him so calm when he's up on stage, Zayn shouldn't make him calm. He should make him nervous and intimidated, but he doesn't. Niall finds it much easier to perform if he just looks at Zayn.

When I perform, I get really nervous. No matter how many times I've been on the stage, my heart never stops beating wildly. I have been to numerous places where I perform with either my piano or violin. I had gone onstage even when I don't want to. I had walked up the stairs and made my way to the middle of the platform, even if the nervousness I was feeling was eating me alive. Why don't I just run away? Why am I trying so hard to stand there when I feel uncomfortable? Why wouldn't I want to quit instead?

I was 18 at the time, and I've always been soo nervous to read my poetry to people, whether it was family or friends, I guess it's because I really value their opinion, but if something I write isn't fluently read then it takes away the emotion the poem is supposed to bring and that is what I fear most when I read to people, it's really nerve wracking to read something personal to ones you love but I hope you guys can relate and like it, personally this is one of my favorite poems I've written yet so, enjoy :)
