With his dark mental state and alcoholic history, he is one of the least desired bachelors in Stardew Valley. You become determined to be friends with him, but will this strictly be a friendly relationship or will romance bloom in unexpected places?

The relationship between you and your grandpa was barely there. Your parents had moved away from their small hometown before you had been born, and in all the 25 years of your life, you had only seen him once a year during the Feast of Winter Star, but only until you were 12. So it was a complete surprise when Grandpa's will was read and he left his house, his property, and his farm animals to you. From the little information you had been given, most of the animals had been taken in by neighboring towns, leaving you with four chickens and two cows to tackle on your own. It was definitely something something you were going to have to get used to. But taking care of the farm animals would soon be the least of your concern as you got yourself into a tangled love. Rethinking your career choices after enduring the rough treatment and dull environment, you make a huge risk to move out from the city and into the town, restarting life as a farmer and continuing the family legacy. These are my stories for the Flufftober 2022 event! Instead of doing 31 one-shots, I decided to put them together into one large story, one chapter per prompt. I hope you enjoy!

A new farmer moves into town, maybe they can be the cure to your chronic longing for love?

Before your grandpas death, he entrusted you with a letter, which he said to only open when you feel crushed by the burden of modern day life. Working at JoJa co. is not the life you dreamed of, so eventually you read the envelope that your grandpa left you and inside that envelope was a letter and a deed to his farm and cottage, located in Stardew Valley. You then move to Stardew Valley only to meet Shane. An alcoholic, who doesn't have many friends and is mostly always negative toward life. But maybe there's more to him then what meets the eye and maybe you two find yourself becoming friends or maybe even lovers... Yeah I know this is going to be a bad fanfic... but bare with me! Late night studies, extra patient intake, and constant business kept his mind from thinking too much. Handling the clinic isn't all that easy, but recently, it's been harder and harder to do so. Tired, and frankly, quite drained, he's not up for much of anything anymore. That was, until one new face seemed to add just a little more meaning to his routine.

"Hey, I'm the new farmer that moved into farm close to your hut! And you are?" Leah can't bring out a single word staring at the farmer. Is this happening again?

Shane is left alone for an entire weekend on the farm. Will he be able to handle all the chores the farmer has? Well he'll be dammed if he doesn't.

A short story focusing on a male MC named Jack and the aspiring writer Elliot who I felt like deserved some more love and attention. As a writer, I found myself partial to Elliot and the notion of living in a beach side cabin. It doesn't get much better than that, now does it?
