It's been nearly a year since Steven set off on a journey across the country, fully committed to therapy to address his emotional struggles and rediscover himself. During this time, he hasn't seen his loved ones in person, and the longing to reunite with them-to share a warm embrace, recount his adventures, and reveal all he's learned-has grown stronger with each passing day. So, when his therapist finally discharges him, Steven decides it's time to return to his hometown, Beach City. He's not the same person who left, though. Gone is the boy who always put others first, no matter the cost to himself. He's learned the importance of self-care, realizing that he's not obligated to save the world at the expense of himself, that his happiness and health are just as important as anyone else's. Yet, just as he begins to reconnect with his old life, disaster strikes. Homeworld is attacked, Gems on Earth start to mysteriously disappear, and old enemies return seeking revenge. Now, caught between his desire for a peaceful life and the responsibilities of his past role as a savior of the universe, Steven must find a way to reconcile his newfound perspective with the demands of protecting those he cares about.

Taken place a couple months after the movie ended, 16 year old Steven is finally happy that everything is back to normal once again. But what happens when Connie's space team takes a trip to an old gem battle site? And later Steven finds out that Connie has gone missing? What will happen when Steven is forced to fight his best friend? How will he save the day this time? Tune in to find out!

After the events of Mr Universe, Greg takes Steven's words at heart. Since his son already knows the basics of every subject, thanks to Pearl, he decides to send him to school. Just for the year, to get a taste of education. He's planning on making it a surprise. He signs Steven up to the closest school near Beach city. Kram school. Okay so I really wanted to write a story like this so I did it! This book is going to mainly focus on connverse so if you dislike the ship don't read! I'm not planning it being super long. Maybe 10 to 20 chapters. Depends. Clarifications: Steven is 16, Connie is 15. And please no comments saying "but she's 14!" She's not, she's a year younger than Steven and even though we don't have an official date for her birthday, she was born in the months of either September, October, November or December. It was stated she was 12 ¾ when Steven turned 14 therefore she is year younger than him. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk. Connie is in the same grade (11th) as Steven due to her skipping a grade. There might be some language depending on the situation. I want to draw the cover so please bare with me on that. My schedule is pretty tight right now.
