The moment you clicked on this book started off straight away as a lie. This story should be in nonfiction, but I myself don't frequent the nonfiction books. My attention is usually drawn into the teen fiction books because we want the story with the happy endings. Where the girl falls in love with the boy, where all their struggles don't matter anymore now that they're together, where they usually live happily ever after with a juicy epilogue from the characters six years in the future. I regret to inform you that this is not one of those stories. This is the story of my life so far and the way it has affected me. The way it made me feel even when other people have told me I was overreacting. This is my #justwriteit story.

You must defeat it before it wins over you. It's a twisted game, waiting for its next competitors. One wrong move and you are done. You breathe only for yourself and your needs in this world. Trust no one, because you never know when or who might backstab you with a knife so sharp you will never get up from it. One last game. One last chance. Win it all back or lose it all.

3rd place winner in Contest #1 of Contestland (Wonderland)! Fizz also known as Felicity Berry is a sixteen year old girl with one thing: Anxiety. From the age of eleven experiencing her first panic attack to the present day, she has faced many battles and trials to get towards the end of her school life. When things start to go incredibly out of hand, she turns to her blog as a way of not only getting her point across but also to express without the fear of one of the bullies finding her under her pen name, "The Girl." It is through one of her blog posts that she encounters another user under the name, "The Boy" but is this user going to be another negative thing to happen on Fizz or will this user change her life for the better? Written for August's #JustWriteIt, Wattys entry for 2015 and inspired by true events from Scarlett's life, A for Anxiety is a story about courage and pushing through barriers to achieve your dreams. "Everyone gets nervous, whether it is because of a school performance or a job interview, they can be beaten. Don't let Anxiety hold you back and if you do have Anxiety, never let others leave you or push you to the side, you are a beautiful person in your own right."- Scarlett Rose. Highest ranked- #10 in action 2/16/2017 A promotion. That's all I wanted. I didn't want to run for my life. I didn't want to be kidnapped. I didn't want to face death. I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.

'You don't need to accept yourself before others accept you... Neither do you need others to accept to accept yourself. The two are not related.' One never asks to be born, or decides how, where and when they want to be born. Who one is born to, in what condition they are born, is not a persons decision. So then why are they blamed for the way they are, for the flaws they were born with? Chapter 1 is my entry for the Christmas Contest by @hepbrunettes © 2015 mahi_shezad
