With world war 3 going on, their enemies could be on the ocean or in the skies anywhere around them so they have only 1 choice: jump into the caldera! While in the "Hidden World" they discover and befriend some new dragon species as well as some classic ones! Their new friends help them get home, end a war, and start a new life! This story is an homage/parody of the video game series Sonic the Hedgehog. As such, it all takes place on an alternate Earth -- better known as Immobi. This wicked wild world is home to a variety of anthropomorphic animals, including two 19-year-olds in particular. There's the good-sported, itchy-footed, and quick-witted Umeme Cheetah. Then there's the cocky, carefree, and foolhardy Radi O. Peregrine. The cat and bird are best buds who not only share a brotherly bond, but a need for speed as well. Hence their names (translated in Swahili) these two Immobians wield the power of electrokinesis. Pretty self-explanatory, but they're able to generate high amounts of electricity within their bodies -- allowing them to perform various tricks and techniques. The most prominent being to move at literal lightning speed, as our duo race across the vast African continent -- if not beyond -- in search of thrill and danger. Be it open plains, dense jungles, scorching deserts, or etc. etc. -- these sparking speedsters will certainly be there in a flash. Throughout their adventures, Umeme and Radi will come across various characters -- both friend and foe alike. With their most frequent foes being monstrous entities known as Nightmares. Created from a currently anonymous source, each kind varies from shape and size -- yet shares a common goal to wreak total chaos. While these Nightmares are determined to do so wherever they go, both cheetah and peregrine are determined to stop them in their tracks. So don't blink -- 'cuz if you ever see two streaks speed by, you can bet one hell of a storm's a brewin'.

The town of Dogwood in Cross County, North Carolina is a picturesque seaside community with a sordid past swimming in piracy. Smoking Beard, aka Edward Hollingsworth, was the terror of the colonial coast in the 1600's, and one of Dogwood's founding members, before his descent into illegal privateering and eventual decline into madness. Four hundred years later, Bertha Rodriguez, romance novelist, resides in Dogwood along with her best friend Camilla Goldstein, Dogwood's chief of police. Every year the town capitalizes on its founders' past with a week long festival in June. The Founders' Festival brings much needed tourism and a break from the monotony of living in a small town. This year will be different, a huge storm hits the coast two weeks before the festival begins and someone uses it as an opportunity for murder. With their town cut off from the rest of civilization, it falls to Bertha and Camilla to solve the murder before the weather clears and the villain is able to make an escape. Reincarnation in the Marvel World is a dangerous thing. After all, the Marvel world is filled to the brim with Gods, Aliens, Cosmic Entities, Super Geniuses Among Super Geniuses most of whom are very morally gray at best, and all of whom seem to have some kind of boner for Planet Earth. As for the residents of Planet Earth themselves? They are too busy fighting amongst themselves to care much of anything else. Unless the topic suddenly shifts to Mutants. Then they get a raging hate boner for the gene freaks and band together regardless of country or religion to burn the spawn of Satan while stabbing them with pitch forks. And somehow, through some cosmic joke, I ended up becoming a Mutant in that very same world. ..... Joy.
