Since the disappearance of his grandfather five years ago, Xeonix took it upon himself to find out what happened to him. He will never stop trying to find the man who killed him. Join Xeonix, as series of events causes him to lose everything, in his journey to finding his grandfather's sword and revealing the truth behind his disappearances.

This was a story I wrote for my creative writing class based off of a picture. I liked it so much I thought I'd add it here. It takes place in a world where reading stories is outlawed and all the books have defense mechanisms in them. Mr. Linden is the only person in his small community that is allowed to have books. Even though they aren't allowed to read them, everyone is still curious, some more than others.
