Materia was a wanderer, one who often crossed paths with Gandalf the Grey. On one such crossing, he invites her to help him on a quest, one he tells her little about save for the fact it would begin in a Hobbit hole within the Shire. As time goes on, she finds herself assisting two kings, one without a kingdom, one without a crown. Can she help them to their thrones, or will they fall to the evils of the world? This story follows the movies, so parts may be left out from the books. All characters, except Materia and a few others, belong to the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit, who belong to JRR Tolkien.

You've heard the story of the 13 Dwarfs, the wizard and the Hobbit right? Well they left out one thing, the Unexpected Member of the Company. You see I am 1/4 Elf, 1/4 man, 1/4 wizard and 1/4 Dwarf so I am tall for a dwarf but not tall enough for an elf/man/wizard. But the elven/wizard side gave me powers that nobody else had, nobody knew who my parents were other then my mother was 1/2 elf and 1/2 man and my father was 1/2 wizard and 1/2 dwarf. Gandalf and Lady Galadriel sent me to "Earth" after Smaug took over Erebor when I was nothing but a little baby girl. 40 yrs later here I am still looking like I am in my 20's with a very bad attitude and wanting NOTHING but to get away from my stupid foster home.......this is MY story on what happened and how I got bad to Middle Earth, trained with Gandalf and Lady Galadriel till it was time to take back the mountain.
