Just a poem I wrote couple of years back...

It is a short story based on the vivid imagination of a teenager, who is betrayed with reality and the human emotions in it. He had a fretful day of disassociation and at night he encountered someone who claimed to be his faithful ally.

My first attempt at writing so feedback is welcome! ● This is the journey of a Lover. Each part in a deliberate order to reflect states and stages one passes with Love. A collection of poetry, quotes and descriptions about Love, written by myself and few others that have been a source of inspiration. One of the main inspirations for the style of writing was the great, known scholar and poet Mevlana Rumi (1207-1273) who wrote powerfully about Love for God. Love is said to come in many different forms and it is said that the same love is never found twice. Love isn't always for people either, we may fall in love with things around us, such as, the sunset. Love can be for a physical thing that appeals to our bodily senses or it may be for One that is beyond that, such as God, making it a spiritual Love. No matter how one chooses to see Love, we are all impacted by it in some way on this journey of life. I hope my words are able to reach out to you, inspire you and make you smile at least once.♥

And you didn't even look back." Krish (voice hard, almost trembling): "Maybe I had to. Maybe I couldn't survive if I did." Radhika (shaking): "Then why does it still hurt like hell?" Krish: "Because some things break deeper than bones." Radhika (voice breaking): "You think I can love you, after everything?" Krish (quietly): "I think you already did. And that's what scares you." Radhika (last, almost whispering): "If love was the reason I survived... why does it feel like the reason I'm still dying?" --------------------------------------------------------------------- Tejash (low, cold): "You destroyed her, Saraswi. You know that, right?" Saraswi (defensive, biting back tears): "And what about you, Tejash? You left me to drown in rumors you never denied." Tejash: "Sometimes silence is safer than the truth." Saraswi (desperate): "Tejash, please... say you didn't hate me." Tejash (looking away): "I never hated you. That was the problem." --------------------------------------------------------------------- Viya (soft, to Vidyut): "Tell me it wasn't my fault, please." Vidyut (gritting his jaw): "You were the only reason I stayed. Don't ever say sorry for saving me." Viya (echoing through tears): "Then why does it feel like we all died the day school ended?" Vidyut (bitter laugh): "Because maybe we did." --------------------------------------------------------------------- "How could the earth ever touch the sky- except through dreams."

Just a random collection of thoughts and reflections I have had over the last few years but only managed to get down on paper recently. My learning and understanding of the world around me changed dramatically at the age of 13. As I started to discover religion, I suddenly started to discover myself and realised many numerous aspects about the world we live in today. This is my effort to share this constantly developing understanding. Please do read and leave me comments on what you think of what I have posted and whether they can be improved in anyway.
