Halloween night was supposed to be harmless fun.
Children filled their bags with candy and chocolate, running from house to house under glowing porch lights. The sweets tasted good almost too good. Some kids noticed something strange about the flavor, but they kept eating anyway.
The next morning, a young girl named Ziggy begins to change.
She craves sugar constantly. Candy. Chocolate. Syrup. Anything sweet. When her mother tries to take the candy away, Ziggy explodes in anger far more violently than a child ever should.
Soon, other children start showing the same strange hunger.
At first it looks like a sugar rush.
Then it becomes something far worse.
As the behavior spreads and panic slowly builds, two brothers Steven and Marlon begin to realize that something is terribly wrong with the Halloween candy everyone thought was harmless.
Because whatever is inside those sweets...
is turning children into something else.
And if they're right, the first monsters of a new outbreak may not be the dead
but the children who ate the candy.
