This is a story about a girl named Amora. Amora has struggled for as long as she could remember- her parents ignored any desperate, obvious cries for help, until she gave up. Her adolescent years were a blur of grey and thunder, until her parents announced their divorce. Any pain she had before was magnified and blown into a million minuscule pieces. She didn't care what it took to get there, but she knew she wouldn't be alive for much longer - not if she had anything to say about it. Until Hugo came along.Classic popular boy (especially with girls). He saw what no one else did in Amora, but he was possibly too late.

I've been watching Twilight Zone and Ray Bradbury Theater, and the universe tapped me on the shoulder and asked me to write this, so I did. It is always a challenge to provide a poetic sensibility to prose. I hope it makes you think, and I hope it makes you feel.
