She swears she hates him. He's convinced he hates her more. But when secrets, lies, and late-night whispers begin to blur the line between enemies and something they wouldn't even consider, neither of them is ready for what's coming. *** Aliana is loud, impulsive, and dangerously unpredictable. She lies when she's scared, smiles when she's breaking, and keeps everyone away with her endless sarcasm and sharp tongue. She doesn't need anyone. Especially not him. Ali is silent storms and cold stares. The boy with the bad reputation, a past no one talks about, and a temper that makes people flinch. He wants nothing to do with drama, especially when it wears red lipstick and calls him names. They can't stand each other. So why do they keep ending up alone in the same room? Why does every fight feel like foreplay? And why does hating him hurt more than it should? ~~~~~~ He kisses me, again and again, raw and consuming, and then pulls away; I can feel his green eyes piercing my soul. "What you told me last time, say it again," he whimpers breathlessly. "What?" I manage to ask, confused, and reel him in again for another kiss. He pulls back again, his breath hot against my skin. "That you hate me, tell me that you hate me." "I hate you," I tell him almost instantly, the lie burning on my tongue. He kisses me harder and more hungrily, and the words slip out again from my tongue: "I hate you. I hate you. I hate you." His murmurs deepen into groans, and at this exact moment, I ask myself how I'm still standing, still breathing, still present. ~~~~~~

Pieces of Me: A Collection of True Stories By Makeida Williams Some testimonies are shouted from the pulpit. Mine were whispered through tears. Pieces of Me is a collection of true stories about the moments that changed my life forever. These aren't perfect endings-they're raw conversations between me and God during my hardest seasons. Inside, you'll walk with me through grief, miscarriage, infertility, diabetes, anxiety, a heart attack, sepsis, kidney failure, dialysis, and amputation. You'll meet the woman who questioned, cried, laughed, got angry, and sometimes sat in silence wondering if God was still listening. You'll also meet the God who never left. Stories like The Funeral Nobody Came To and But God... We Talked About This reveal what faith looks like when life doesn't go as planned-honest, sometimes funny, sometimes heartbreaking, always real. People ask how I still trust God after everything. My question is simple: How could I not? When the rooms grew quiet... When answers didn't come... When I had to learn a new way to live... It was still just me and God. This isn't about perfect faith. It's about holding on when your hands are shaking and discovering that sometimes God doesn't remove the storm-He holds you through it. Each story includes reflection, scripture, a Coffee with Keida moment, a Sticky Note Quote, and a prayer-because these stories aren't just meant to be read, but carried with you. These are the broken pieces of my life. Together, they became the woman I'm still becoming. Welcome to Pieces of Me

2:22am. That was the exact time you took your last breath. Your blood dripping from my fingertips, the smell of your Versace cologne wafting in the air and your dull and now lifeless body on our once snow white carpeted floor. I dropped to my knees, my eyes stinging with salty tears as I immediately went to taste your lips for what I refused to believe would be the last time that I would feel you. I gripped your body as tight as I could. Almost as tight as your hands would find their way around my neck most days, cutting off my air supply ever so often, and having my heart skip a beat in my aching chest. I put my ear to your heart, hoping I would hear a faint skip like my own, but I found myself met with the flattest of all tones. Wishing it was me instead of you who was lying there, beautiful and still. I was the one who deserved to die. Not even for what I had done- but for all the things I had thought about doing to you one day, if I had the opportunity. And now, there I was. I hated myself for it. But you had left me no choice. This was the only choice you had ever given me. In 16 years, 192 months, 5844 days, 140160 hours, and 8415360 minutes- this was the first and only time that I could make a decision about how something was going to go, how something was going to play out. How my life was going to be. 2:22. Somehow, I just knew in that moment, I was in the right place at the right time. Dedication goes wholeheartedly to any and all domestic violence victims, especially those closest to me. ❥ ©Copyright KeKe Biddle 2022-2026

Book 1: When The World Died (The Beginning Of The End) The world didn't end with a bang. It rotted. One second, everything was normal. The next-everything collapsed. Death came fast. What followed came faster. The dead didn't stay dead. They kept moving. And they didn't stop. December Hayes was never meant to survive a world like this-soft, untrained, unprepared. But survival doesn't care who you used to be. It strips you down and forces you to become something else. Saved by a stranger who trusts no one and trained like a weapon just to stay alive, December is thrown into a reality where hesitation gets you killed-and mercy can be more brutal than death. Because out there, the infected aren't the only monsters. And sometimes, the most dangerous thing in the world... is still human. --- © All Rights Reserved 2026

Thorn does not believe in being saved. She believes in exits. In locked doors. In silence. In keeping her head down, her hands busy, and her past buried so deep no one thinks to look for it. After a month of failed job interviews, Thorn walks into the Rosewood Lounge for one reason only: tea. She does not expect the crooked job sign in the window. She does not expect Noah Thornwood, all chaos, charm and impossible warmth. She does not expect Elias Thornwood, all control, sharp edges and quiet protection. And she definitely does not expect a non-alcoholic café-bar full of people who somehow notice too much, ask too many questions, and make far too much room for a woman who has spent her whole life trying not to need anyone. Thorn is brilliant, guarded, exhausted and terrifyingly calm. She is a bartender who does not drink, an artist who hides her work, a woman with chronic pain, old grief, and a history no one at Rosewood could ever imagine. But Rosewood has its own way of loving people. Through tea. Through food. Through ridiculous theories. Through late-night shifts, handmade blankets, found family, and the kind of loyalty Thorn has never trusted enough to want. The longer she stays, the harder it becomes to pretend she is only an employee. Because Noah sees the loneliness she hides behind sarcasm. Elias sees the pain she refuses to name. Zara knows the girl beneath the armour. And slowly, painfully, Thorn starts to learn that family is not always blood. Sometimes family is the people who save you a seat. Sometimes it is the people who stay. And sometimes, after years of surviving alone, there is finally room for one more.

Woodsboro. A quiet little town tucked away in California. Well... Semi-quiet. The kind of place where everybody knows everybody, gossip spreads faster than wildfire, and teenagers spend Friday nights looking for trouble because there ain't much else to do. But all it takes is one bad apple to spoil the bunch. Twenty-six years ago, Woodsboro belonged to a monster. A serial killer hidden behind a pig mask stalked the town in the early seventies, leaving behind bodies, blood, and enough nightmares to last generations. Eventually, they caught him. Buried him. Closed the book. Or so everyone thought. Because when people start turning up dead twenty-six years later, the town begins whispering the same question: What if he never died? Everyone remembers the Woodsboro Murders. The masked killer. The blood. The survivors. What nobody knows is that this time... They're chasing a ghost. Every clue points back to a dead man. Every rumor feeds the legend. Every terrified citizen is too busy looking backward to notice the monsters standing right in front of them. And somewhere in the middle of it all is Elizabeth Prescott. The sweet cousin of Sidney Prescott. The cheer captain. The girl who always smiles. The girl who remembers birthdays, helps strangers, and seems far too kind to have a cruel bone in her body. When Elizabeth was fourteen, she and her mother fled to Woodsboro to escape an abusive father. They settled on the outskirts of town, in a lonely house surrounded by acres of woods and empty land. Their closest neighbor happened to be the Macher family, though "close" was a generous term when miles of dirt roads and towering trees separated each property. It was quiet out there. Safe. Or at least it was supposed to be. Because everybody has secrets. Some are just better at hiding them. The question is: What happens when the wrong people survive? An Alternate Ending to Scream (1996) Who lives? Who dies? And who gets away with murder?
