Emma Swan fell in love with her math teacher when she was a freshman in high school. All through high school, she made sure she was the best in her class, loving how proud it made her teacher. She loved the praise she gave her. In her senior year, she found out her teacher was newly-engaged and would be married later that year. She graduated with a broken heart. Now, five years later, Emma Swan returns to her high school, being hired as the new English teacher. And guess who's still the math teacher, teaching right across the hall? That's right.
