With this new information, and wanting to help her owner out, Sweetie secretly hops onto the Princess's private jet, and flies to Adventure Bay to inform the pups of this revelation. Together, Sweetie and the pups work to come up with a plan to get Ryder and the Princess together. With time running out, and the Barkingburg Ball just around the corner, will Sweetie and the pups be able to successfully execute their plan and get the two of them together in time for the Ball, or will the Princess's longtime dream of one day being with Ryder, be nothing more than a shattered fantasy? Sometimes, when you try and try again to do something simple - something so simple that everyone else around you gets it but you. Sometimes it pays to have some help from someone you know. In the case for the cutie mark crusaders, they have been trying to get their cutie marks since they were very little, yet each time they have failed. Having watched their little sisters almost give up hope, the main six decide to intervene. In doing so they go on a hunt into the past to find the reason behind the cutie mark and how it became to be what it is today. What they find will surprise you and me... Side note from the author: Take the last line as you may, weather or not it sounds like I know what I'm doing with this story or not. But I will admit this is actually a re-write of another story...witch I deleted prior to writing this. The first story had been created a couple of years from 2020 and upon re=reading it I released how bad it was. Considering the story sounded as if it was just torture porn. However, today I just brought a new keyboard and can connect this to my phone (Or tablet witch is what I'm using right now) and type a story much easier. So this story, and the others I wish to keep and re-write should come out much better. And hopefully I like the way it turns out this time. And better, I hope to finish a bloody book for once instead of half assing it like usual. Anyway, I'm getting off topic. This story I hope you don't hate how I see the origins of the cutie mark ... on a further side note, tell me what you guys think of the origins behind the cutie mark, I'm interested in what other people think. Book Two of the "Long and Hopeful Journey" Series. If you haven't read the first story in the series, Race Against Time, I suggest reading it before you read this story. "Race Against Time" was focused on ChasexSkye and MarshallxEverest, but slightly more focused on ChasexSkye. This story, however, is going to be slightly more focused on MarshallxEverest. But when Chase and Marshall find their parents, they are told a secret that changes up the entire battle. Now it is up to the Paw Patrol to free their parents and friends before it's too late.
