Ella, Kate's mother, deciders to move to a small town named Danville. Thinking she would prefer the closeness of the town and also enjoy seeing some of her old friends, because after all that is where she grew up. Kate struggles to get along with her mother especially because they aren't close. Deciding to put the past behind her, Kate reconciles with her best friend and finds love.
