Everyone wonders what it's like to be blind or deaf. When the presenters come to school and try and describe how life is different, you just wonder, even if it is just for a moment. I know that I wondered about being blind for a long time, but now, that is my reality. No, I didn't lose my vision, whenever I wake up, I should still have 20/20 vision, but I can't see anymore. I can't move. I can't wake up. I am stuck in the prison of comatose, and there is no definite way out. I can hear the heart monitor, the nurses, the doctors, and all of my visitors. I can feel the needle in my arm that is giving me nutrients and medication, and I can feel the hands that keep my clean. I can smell the haunting aroma of the hospital, and can tell people apart by their smell. I can taste the substances they put on my teeth to keep them clean. I simply cannot see. I cannot give the people I hear crying at my bedside a look of reassurance, and I cannot reach out to wipe away their tears. So, for now, I observe through the bars of my cell that separate me from the rest of the world. I observe through the restrictions of comatose.#takethepledge #justwriteit

This is our star-crossed love story, don't worry ours isn't as absurd Romeo and Juliet's. We are both a legal age, we don't fall in love after 3 days, or kill ourselves. Although none of those occur in our story, I guarantee it has just a many twists and turns. Ezra: We'll give you a bit of background information to give you a better understanding of how we came to be a WE. Aubri and I met years ago in grade school but when my family moved to another state we lost contact. Years later my family and I returned to New York, and as if destiny were pulling us together we ended up in the same school for senior year in high school. Aubri: Seems like everything would go according to plan, right? Nope, Ezra and I are physically and financially very different which cause a bit of an uproar between our families. Despite our relationship being forbidden we continued to see each other privately, which only worked for so long. Ezra: I'm sure it can be better understood if we start from the beginning, the day we saw each other again after years.
