Elena Katherine Ferrer was a second-year student studying Civil Engineering at UST. She lived with her parents and her two siblings. Since UST was far from their home, her parents decided na mag-rent na lang siya ng apartment sa España para mas malapit siya sa university. Hindi sila mayaman, pero dahil may lahing American ang tatay niya, nagawa niyang pag-aralin si Elena sa UST. Since elementary, gusto na talaga ni Elena maging Civil Engineer. She really loved designing and building mini houses, kaya iyon na rin ang naging dream course niya. Pero hindi naging madali ang pag-aaral niya. Mababa lagi ang scores niya noon, and she even almost failed when she was about to graduate from senior high school. Maybe she's lucky because there was a guy who helped her with her studies, kahit magkaiba sila ng course. But who knows? Hanggang dulo ba sila na ganyan? Lahat ng pagsubok kinakaya niya dahil may kapatid siyang sinusuportahan sa bahay nila. Her mother was only a vendor, kaya hindi ganoon kalaki ang kinikita nila. Elena also applied for a scholarship at UST, and thankfully, natanggap siya bilang scholar. Kahit maraming struggles, hindi niya binitawan ang dream niya na maging Civil Engineer. 18+
