A long time ago, nymphs and other elementals roamed the Earth freely. Things have changed. Now, the majority of nymphs have been captured by humans and enslaved due to their unique powers. North, an oceanid, is a victim of this cruel trade. Her ability to predict the tides means she was auctioned off to a hunting crew where she is forced to work against own kind. She spends her days craving freedom and the cool, watery embrace of her home: the ocean. Just as she's about to lose all hope, an opportunity for escape presents itself. On a hunting trip, North discovers an injured mermaid with peculiar markings that seem to resemble an eye. When the two touch, North's soul becomes forever entwined with an ancient sea spirit named Curlew. Curlew's magic could be the key to her freedom. However, many want him gone and that means killing North.

Dylan Lewis is a cryptozoologist who is searching for the extinct mythical sea horse. On his journey, he met a mermaid which will lead him to the mythical sea horse. What if the mermaid tells him that a corporation caught the mythical sea horse's mother and locked it in their facility. Dylan decided he will save the mother. But, it would be difficult, as the corporation that locked the mother is very secure. He'll encounter a lot of obstacles to save it. He will meet new friends that would help him. But also a backstabber?! When Dylan is almost close to saving the mother. What will happen when someone bribes him with fame and money, so he would stop. What will he choose? When snow begins to fall on the Surface, it is time to leave the Gulf. But before the people who live under the sea pack their belongings and haul it to the warmest place they can find this side of the Atlantic, a small celebration is thrown for those who wish to stay and brave the cold.
