Clara believed in signs. In cards. In the quiet wisdom they whispered when life felt uncertain. Every choice she made - from love to career - was guided by her tarot deck. But what happens when the cards reveal a path she isn't ready to take? A story of fate, courage, and the fragile line between guidance and obsession.

A shadow of impersonation brought calamity, a monster whose smile was ruin, stealing the Lifespans of humankind and plunging countless souls into terror. Year One: a young man shattered the Serpent of Death's peril, saving friends, school, and washing away injustice. Year Two: he freed the wrongfully imprisoned, tearing open shadowed dungeons. But the Wheel of Mystery spun on. A name surfaced: Tristan. The Origin? Lost within fate's labyrinth, unable to find the way home. Then He returned-not to conquer, but to protect Hogwarts, a fortress for wizard friends. Beneath the Sorting Hat, a power awoke to shatter the very monsters born there. Corridors flared; the eternal night dissolved. The Great Hall bells pealed-a hymn of victory or a funeral dirge? Yet evil persisted. The Sword of the Future pressed close. The Wheel of Fate shifted, fusing iron and steel for a new destiny. Would Tristan, the lost one, behold the splendor or be the sacrificial offering? Amid the ruins, beneath the frigid gaze of extinguished worlds, I stepped through the Door of the Void. Only Will endured, stitching torn memory. In the vast silence, between dream and waking, I was reborn. Not as the one who fell, but as a new existence, tempered from a flickering ember of Destiny. Exousia Potentia "Double Power," is nothing like her occultist mom, The High-Priestess. Instead of running the world of Tarot as the next High Priestess in charge of keeping the major and minor arcana in check, she would rather be a fool living a life without the legacy of the Arcana, in a royal entourage.

The Wheel of Fortune screeched to a halt, sparks flying and fouling the air. The enormous mechanism that had turned since the beginning of time stopped. Whether it had ever stopped before, no one remembered. The needle on the Wheel shuddered and stopped, pointing at a golden horned mask. "DEVIL" The palace went dark. The city behind it sank into shadow.

The real question is why she then finds the card tattooed on a man she has never seen before. This so-called man goes by the name of Damien, who is in fact a deviant reaper and harvests the souls of the rich for his own intentions. He approaches Elise for a reading to find out if he will succeed in his endeavours, and although she confirms that he will succeed in his venture, the cards also give a warning. But Damien refuses to listen. It isn't long before the dangers that the cards foretold pull Elise into Damien's troubles. ____________________________________________ Cover was made by @dreamtastic ! :D

A guide to using the Tarot as a tool in crafting characters, plots, and settings. Included are various spreads and interpretations I've come up with over the years, for use in my own projects. Any deck can be used, though I highly suggest the Rider-Waite deck for its timeless imagery. The Tarot is much more than a simple divination tool. It can be applied in many different ways by writers. My work is heavily inspired by this ancient system, and I'm pleased to share my insights with you. If you have any suggestions, or questions in general, feel free to comment! I can also do personal consultations as my time allows.
