This is based off of a dream I had and I wanted to write it down because I thought "damn, this would be a good fanfic!" Don't judge me lol.

The once jaded and problematic teen Jess Mariano tries to make peace with his bad boy past. Losing the love of his life, hated by most and having no plan for the future he tries to work himself from the ground up. Partly because he wants to prove everyone wrong, partly because he realizes he's worth it, but mostly because he hopes to one day be worthy of her love.

This story takes places after the last 4 words from Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. While I am a Team Jess, I am not anti Logan and I am trying to portray this as closely as I can to how I think the original writers would if they were to continue. So if you are expecting instant gratification, this probably isn't a story for you. I am not entirely sure where it's going to be perfectly honest. That being said I do not own these characters. :) This is my first time attempting anything like this, so bare with me. When I get stumped on something, I move on to the next thing. Logan broke off his engagement to Odette and owns a chain of bars in new york.
