Team Chaotix is tasked with finding Void's brother. Unfortunatly, he went missing due to Project Resurgence. Overtime, Void's past is revealed, along with many secrets from Team Passive, Team Aggressive, and even Project Resurgence itself.

This takes place in an AU where Infinite (Zero) and Sonic's roles are switched. Sonic is the mysterious villain and Zero is the beloved Hero of Möbius. So this is basically a rewrite of Sonic forces in a way.
