There it was. Nathan Chen. America's supposed golden boy at the Winter Olympics earlier that year that unfortunately came up much too short when it counted the most. (I made everyone a bit older than in the D3 movie but it's based off of D3. Some of the games that are in D2 and D3 are in the story but pretend like they never happened. :p. )
