Excerpts of diary entries are from the original diary I had kept back in the 1980s while I was in high school. Each entry will describe the adjustments and teen angst in trying to fit into high school life which is difficult if one has a learning disability. My diary entries may be relatable to teen readers here who are also struggling to fit in the usual day-to-day Junior high and high school life.

"Being a teen myself, I don't even know where I fall in these categories. The categories of being either a child or an adult. Sure, sometimes I do act like a child, but that doesn't mean I can't think for myself and make my own decisions." So I decided to write my " teenage diary ". I decided to write about what I face and what millions of teenagers face and how we can get over what makes us sad in a motivational way.

Through the pages of her diary, a young teenage girl unravels the trials of growing up navigating shifting friendships, fleeting joys, and the sudden turns life can take. She begins to see how even the brightest moments don't always last, and yet, each experience leaves her with lessons that shape who she is becoming.

The story is about a young girl learning to live, love and cope with her broken heart. Throughout the journey, she was misunderstood but never stopped. The story is about loving & trusting fierlessly and still getting hurt in that process...
