He grinned in a malicious way that sent shivers down her back and said, "Nah, that doesn't really work with my plans for you know, world domination and destruction? See you later." With that he saluted, threw an enormous ball of ice shards hurtling down towards the ground, and turned and flew away. Selene went for the ice ball. There was nothing else she could do. It would've killed at least 15 civilians. But as she threw herself towards the ground she felt her anger towards him growing, simmering, like a pot that's about to boil over. She: Selene McClellan, A.K.A Violet Starling, Telekinetic, Pyrokinetic, and superhero extraordinaire. She's also just a struggling teenage girl. Things were easier when she had her partner but its been many months since he turned and its time to let go. Him: Taylor Maxwell, A.K.A Grewhawk, Selene's former enemy and now sworn enemy. Or is he?

( Temporarily On Hold ) The air chills as the eerie feeling I'm all too familiar with fills my soul; just as it has since I was a child. "Okay, I know you're here. Show yourself." From the darkness a figure emerges. She appears to be little more than skin and bones as she glides toward me. "That's far enough." Holding up my hand she stops her approach. "What do you want?" She silently continues staring at me; with her jet black eyes. "If this is some kind of warning don't bother. I'm going anyway." The Spirit bows her head and retreats back into the darkness from which she came. As soon as she's gone the temperature returns to normal and I flop back on my pillow. It terrified her at first but as she grew up she learned more about it and how to control it, at least at times. Trying to find answers she joins a group of paranormal investigators who have a TV series called, "Beyond the Vail." On her first investigation she encounters an evil spirit that has plagued her since she was a child. And what's worse, she fears he may be responsible for what has been called 'The Elkmont Incident' where an entire town disappeared overnight. Children are born with amazing abilities, from mental powers to physical enhancements and beyond. Now society has to cope with a new problem; what do you do with children with superpowers?+ This anthology is a collection of stories based on this super hero world. They may not be in chronological order with some stories of characters that may live decades before the others. My goal from this point is to update a new story weekly. We will see how well that goes.

Reborn “He shot me Jessie” I moved my hand to show the exit wound just below my shoulder.Jessie pulled me into a hug and mumbled in my ear that I'd be okay.He put a hand over the wound and used his other to stroke my hair.He sliced the palm of his hand. With one more reassuring, mumbled “It's okay” He quickly shoved his hand to the bullet wound.Then I felt strong. Amazing, like I could do anything. Everything went black. Book is not finished and will be updated as I continue writing. Edits and stuff are not completely done, this is only going out for a general idea.

God, aside from being so, so terribly gay--I'm anxious, incredibly panicked, have telekinesis and I'm a nervous wreck. Oh, did I mention that I have telekinesis? Hang on--oh. Oh christ, I did. Oh my god, I'm so awkward. I'm sorry I'll just continue-- Aside from all that, I was assigned as a bodyguard for my favorite girl group, which so happens to contain my soulmates? Victoria, she's gotten used to that name. It was hundreds of years since her real name's been used, and considering how she left home, it wasn't surprising. She'd more or lessed come to peace with her past, she'd recently left her life as an assasin for hire and was working in an elite taskforce of 'harmless' looking teenagers. Only, like her, they all had their dark pasts and thier abilities. Life was finally settling down, friends and a safe home was an added comfort she hadn't had in a while. It was near perfect. Until her previous life found her. Then nothing was perfect, and it probably never would be again.
