They tried to warn her. All he was going to do was break her heart. Well, then let him break it. *** High school. The dreaded part of our lives where you had to figure out your life, deal with a boat load of feelings, and try not to break down. It wasn't fair, but then again, life wasn't fair. Some school's had a specific tradition- sports, academics, or clubs. Well, Jaylee and Luke's school had a very... unique tradition; who could be the top heartbreaker. Every year, there was a boy and girl heartbreaker, battling for the top. There was only one difference between the other generations and Luke and Jaylee's. The Heartbreaker's Game. The game was simple. Whoever broke the other's heart first was the winner, and the other would be the school's loser. All they had to do was try to not fall for each other, and they both knew that would be highly impossible. Or so they thought. With fights, friends, secrets, and love, who will make it out on top? Who will truly claim the title of top heartbreaker? There is one thing to remember: Never fall for The Heartbreakers. *Latest version edited & completed on March 24, 2017* | HIGHEST RANK: #1 in heartbreakers on 07.06.23 #83 in Romance on 03.02.19 #278 in Chicklit on 04.09.18 | © All rights reserved.

I wiped my eyes before gazing at him again. "How are you so sure of us? I thought you avoided this-- avoided love." "I did avoid it. But you make it so damn hard. I'm not saying the ride will be easy for us, love," His boyish grin played on his lips, and my heart melted in my chest. His fingers brushed against my cheek as he leaned closer to me, whispering, "But I promise it will be worth it." °•○•° Brooke Anderson was the star softball player of Alabama. Peering down the alley, I wondered if it would be smart to take. I mean it was eleven o'clock at night, anything could happen. My house was definitely a block away from the other side of the alley instead of five miles around. I usually took it, but it's way darker than what it usually is. Deciding to run the mile down, I took off through. Almost expecting it to turn out this way. Someone had caught me, and thrown me to a wall. A gasp escaped my lips as I desperately tried to sit up while holding the back of my head. "What a tasty snack. Do I have the privilege of knowing my victim's name?" The guy asked me. ~|~The Rest of this you can ignore~|~ Other information: REVISED COMING SOON- Date may never happen STARTED: July 10, 2016. 5:30pm (Eastern time) ENDED: July 10, 2016 10:00pm (Eastern time) Cover by: an Army Geek (me)

[BEING REVISED: SLOW UPDATES] Violet Mayre is about as far from normal as you can get and still be a human, seventeen-year-old girl. She hates romance, she hates sappiness, she hates horses and chocolate and glitter, and almost everything else. Actually, she hates almost everyone else, too. For the most part during the summer, she sits and does nothing but listen to obscure folk bands and read books written by people no one knows about. After all--she hates sunburns and swimsuits. She hates going to the mall. Those things are for normal people. So when her older sister enlists a boy to befriend Violet in a last-ditch attempt to get her out of the house, all hell breaks loose. Suddenly, there is a normal boy trying to get her to leave her room and do normal things, and it's all due to a traitorous decision made by her older sister! Will Violet succeed in chasing this boy away? Or will he succeed in getting her out of her shell? • | EXCERPT | • "I didn't know you could be civil. Here's a reward for your good behavior." And I kid you not, he pulled out his wallet and gave me a gold star. "Congrats," he said, grinning teasingly. "You cheeky bast--" "--there are children present." I could have died of spontaneous combustion, so great was the pressure that built up behind my lips. I wanted to say several things, but he wouldn't let me get away with it. "Here's your tea, miss. And yours." The waitress was back, putting our drinks down. I noticed immediately that Jasper had tea just as I did. "Thanks," I said. "Do you two know what you want?" "I'll take the harvest time meat platter. Wren?" I pretended to study the menu. "Something sweet," I said at last. "To contrast all of the salt in this goat's system." [Disclaimer: Not a bad boy story AT ALL.] Gorgeous cover by @candeliers :D

Haley White and Taylor Cooper have been best friends since they were only 5-years-old. The two live in New York City, and walk to each other's houses every day. That is, they used to. Until Taylor's family moves away in the middle of the school year. Now, with Taylor living in Florida, over 1,000 miles away from her best friend, letters are what keeps them connected. Taylor doesn't have a cell phone, and Haley's house doesn't have a land line... making it seem as if the universe wants them to write to one another. The girls write notes back and forth for a while, but it starts to feel like Haley's letters are taking longer and longer each time. Almost to the point where there's no sense for Taylor to write to her. What has popularity done to Haley, and moving done to Taylor? And what does it mean for their friendship? The middle schoolers must attempt to pick up the pieces of a shattered friendship and glue it back together if they want the letters to continue. But do they? (Note: this book is completely unedited)

"What's your name?" He tries again. Should I tell him so he can shut up? Or will he just keep talking. "Fine. Don't tell me. But personally I think we are going to be great friends. Maybe I should tell you a bit about myself so you can trust me. Stranger danger and all that. That's why you're not talking to me right?" I don't respond. "So here it goes. My name is Alexander Daniel Woods. I have amazing black hair and piercing green eyes as told to me by various ladies. My major is in marketing. My blood type is O positive, my social security number is 45-" "Oh my god, do you ever shut up?" Most people -- if they invented a story-creating computer program -- would stop at nothing to make it work somehow. If twenty-five year old Charlotte Lang wasn't so held back by her past and her tedious job as a computer animation artist, she'd probably do that, too. But after years of being overwhelmed by guilt as a result of something that happened to her beloved sister, she has lost the will to fight for her invention. Charlotte's half-hearted attempts to get her story-building program to work have been less-than-successful for the last seven years. When she gives the main character on her latest attempt a fatal flaw, she doesn't expect it to make a difference one way or the other. It probably won't work anyway, right? Unfortunately for this flawed character, the program does work. Paris Verloren, a mechanic in a dirty, gray-skied city doesn't belong in the white side of town or the black. He has some problems of his own. Aside from his inability to love-thanks to Charlotte Lang-he doesn't relate with his elder half-brother, the business at his mechanic shop is slow, life is hard, and there's a girl who has attached herself to him. Femi, a colorless, mute painter whose name means "love me", has nothing if not her painting, and no one to speak of who cares about her. When Paris comes upon the scene of her painting an alley, she seizes the opportunity to love someone. With Paris' inability to love, and Femi's clear need for love in her lonely existence, what will become of the two? Will their creator, Charlotte Lang, do anything to counteract the impending misfortune written in the form of fact? #678 General Fiction 3/30/16 ©2015 Alyssa Tidmore All rights reserved
