This is a poem about my life before my suicide attempt and self harm recovery aftermath,and my struggle of developing hope and progression becoming my new reality.

15 year old Ashley Young has been diagnosed with MDD (Major Depression Disorder) after her older sister, Angelique Young, died in a car wreck when she was 12. /// 15 year old Hope Zenter, sister of the 16 year old Kyle Zenter, a high school champion and "popular", has been dealing with the same thing since her mother committed suicide when she was 10. Kyle constantly brings it up and blames it on Hope. But it's not her fault..or is it? 3 weeks after school lets out, the two girls bump into each other at the park and become friends. Is Hope the key to Ashley's happiness? Is Ashley the key to Hope's happiness? Find out in "It Was Always You"

this here tiny lil book is for anyone who self-harms, who is considering suicide, or just needs a little light in the dark. it's dedicated to the absolutely amazing @pastel_gremlin whom i love and adore. this was written to and for him, in a time when he needed it. he asked me to keep it up on here for anyone else who needs it, too. if you are that person, please know: you are loved, worthy, needed, and perfect. please stay. lots of love, -inked-fables (ps, come talk to me @piracyandpumpturns- if you're in need to support <3)
