To his friends? To Lily? How will the Community adapt to the return of memories? A short story spin-off following 9 years after Jonas left the community. A world where Lois Lowry never wrote the other 3 books continuing The Giver. Things are different now. But just how different?

Just an essay I wrote for school please give me some feedback on what I can do to improve.

My friends call this 'what happened when I'm left alone with my thoughts' ya so this is some of the things I read in wattpad and how I think they should go Most of the characters be long to someone else I have the ideas (not that I'm selling these to a publisher to make any money but so that no one yells at me here the disclaimer)

A young child was found by the community river, no signs of anyone leaving him behind. Follow the foundling through his life in the community as he tries to hide the fact that he is transgender whilst living a complicated life.

This is an ending rewrite I did in seventh grade.

This is really an after thought when I was really dissapointed with the book's ending.

What happened to Jonas after he left the community? And what happened BEFORE he started his new life?

I, Aurora, was different from everyone I knew. I felt and saw things that nobody could even fathom. But I had to hide it. Our society strictly suppressed such things and I felt I would be in danger if I was found out. All I wanted were answers as to why I was this way. Why did the injections that should have suppressed everything have no effect on me? Was I the only one? Maybe as the new receiver alongside Jonas, I will finally get the answers I have always wanted. **IMPORTANT NOTICE** I started writing this story years ago and have recently decided to scrap everything and restart, HOWEVER, I did not have the heart to delete what I originally wrote so, the first "chapter" of this book is actually all the chapters I had out before scrapping the story all rolled into one for the sake of preservation. The book as it is now actually starts in the second "chapter" which will be labeled as the first one. I hope that made sense. This story is also available on my Quotev. This is a story ending I had to write for Language Arts and it is kind of like remixing the ending of the giver (which is a great book). When I was writing it I just decided to upload it here because why not? Hope you guys enjoy!
