The house had been abandoned for decades. It was owned by a woman named Jasmine Black who got it when she divorced her cheating husband. The woman lived the rest of her life very lonely and turned bitter. Many people left because they couldn't handle being around her. Mora had always felt empathy toward her. She was hoping that she could honor her now that she had the home. What will happen to the old house on Slip Rd? Can it be loved again? --- All characters and their likeness are mine. Detective Amser Leighton came to the Catskills for one purpose: find the person who sent the text. When she had gotten her first cellphone, Amser got a text from an unknown number that only had dates and times on them. It wouldn't be until years later that she would know their significance.
