Not all houses have the best intentions.

My submission for #TheGrudgeContest :-) I was in the mood to write something new. I hope you enjoy it!

I decided to go on a limb and enter the Grudge. Contest because I've been procrastinating a lot so.... meh. No pictures and or videos used are mine. They belong to their rightful owner.

The evil within isn't moving out.

Spirits of Wrath, of Rage, linger wherever Death sleeps - be it in homes or forested ruins of towns long forgotten. Death and Life cross paths where two souls meet, one seeking revenge and the other truths unseen.

[COMPLETED] Cassidy couldn't wait to spend her first night in her new house. She had the whole night planned; food, games, wine, and her closest loved ones. The house had been a steal, and she'd found it at the perfect time. Having recently moved to town for her new consulting job, she'd been hard pressed to find a place to live before her living stipend ran dry. But a mysterious email from a small-time local realtor quickly leads to an exciting purchase of the beautiful home. But when the group discovers a hidden door leading to a secret basement, the fun-filled night quickly turns into a horrifying struggle for survival as the group contends with the cursed house and the rage of the creature within.

After losing their families in the civil war of Sudan, Malek and Ayen join a group of other children as they seek refuge from the war. *** Set in Sudan, Malek and Ayen both come from Dinka tribes. The story tells 2 different points of view; Malek, a young Dinka boy who watched his family be killed in front of him. Ayen, a young Dinka girl, who joins the large group of children fleeing Sudan with her big sister. #1 in #sudan #11 in #thegrudgecontest

It was supposed to be the happiest day of my life instead I watched my future go up in flames. I lost my love but my revenge remains. This town struck the match and now they will remember my name.
