Koza has just been living his life, doing the do, hoarding things and then learning to let go and not be a stingy and fickle little thing, and all around just been chilling, up until the day a bunch of dwarves run in on him naked. Yeah, Ko's not having a good day.

Starblood is a warg that follows orders. She always has, and this hunt for Thorin Oakenshield's company will be no different. Her mission is simple: find the Dwarves, bring Thorin Oakenshield to Azog, and kill the rest. That is her plan, until she encounters a strange halfling creature that reeks of power beyond what Starblood knows. Now determined to find the halfling and use whatever dark magic it has to gain power for herself, Starblood sets off alone and ends up as a prisoner to the traveling company, protected only by the halfling that seems to like her and eventually, two Elves that seem obsessed with what she could be. The longer Starblood spends with a pack so entirely unlike her own, the more she feels that she is destined to do more than die fighting for Orcs, and the more she sees what freedom truly is, the more she wishes to protect it.
