After issues and fights back home Lynn is sent to Santa Carla to stay with her Grandpa, Aunt Lucy, and cousins Michael & Sam Emerson. Arriving made her anxiety spike but she longed for more, more than what her small religious Texas town could offer. Exchanging the three-room Baptist Christian school she had always hated for the bright and loud boardwalk filled with more interesting people in one place than she had ever seen. It was the freedom she dreamed of every night, and when she catches sight of Michael's friends she sees the perfect opportunity to join the night even if she isn't aware of how deeply they revel in the darkness.
