Your father is a basic guard in the emperors coven, you often go there in your free time to tend to the plants around the castle, one day, you're in the castles library, browsing around to find any fairytales that peak your interest, but it turns out the golden guard that's been sitting popular lately reaches for the same book.

To be part of the Emperor's Coven, you must be a proper witch. You must be able to use magic well; you must hold the isles to the standard that the Emperor does, and you must bring wild witches over to the blessed coven system. Something that is not good for the Emperor's Coven is a human. A human cannot use magic; they can only trick. A human cannot hold the Emperor's standards, for they do not know his standards. A human may refuse to bring a wild witch in. A human should not be in the Emperor's Coven. And yet, with enough lies, tricks, and bad luck, here we are. On a planet far far away from earth, existed a land of witches and creatures of dough. These two factions fought for the longest time, until one day something unexpected happened. From the skies weird creatures that reminded these cookies of their creators, the witches, came down from beyond the heavens. These creatures were very interested in these cookies, and spent a few years to learn everything they could from these cookies. They observed and sometimes even conversed with these cookies, showing hospitality and a willingness to share wisdom and knowledge. that is until the day they revealed their true nature. For these creatures seeked to find rare and extraordinary things across the cosmos and "collect" them for their own interests. The cookies could only watch as their world was encapsulated in a book that trapped their entire world in its pages. Since then the creatures would quarrel over this book, until it became lost among the stars. That is, until one fateful day.

What once was lost will soon be found. Hunter Noceda always knew he was different than everybody else. And he knows next to nothing about where he came from before he was adopted as a baby. But one day, a small owl leads Hunter into another world of magic and fearsome creatures. There, he meets a witch and a little demon who take him into their whimsical house. Hunter can't help but feel like he belongs to the demon realm in some way. And under the guidance of his new eccentric guardian, the boy learns the art of witchcraft in hopes of finding his identity. But there also dark secrets about himself that Hunter may not be ready for. What will become of the teenage witch?
