After finishing at the Fire Academy, Buck's stopped on his way out by Captain Bobby Nash from the 118 - the most talked-about station in LA. Nash offers him a spot as their new probie, impressed by his background as a dispatcher and his record-breaking run through training. But Buck turns him down. He knows what went down under the last captain, Gerard, and he's not about to walk into a place still recovering from that kind of mess.
