After five years away, Y/N returns to the sandlot she once called home, only to find that some things haven't changed... and some things have. The boys are still there. The games are still the same. And so is him. Or at least, that's what she thought. Because while Y/N remembers everything, Benjamin Franklin Rodriguez doesn't remember her at all. As old memories resurface and new feelings begin to grow, Y/N is left wondering if some stories are meant to stay in the past or if, just maybe, they're waiting for the right moment to begin again. Especially when the sky lights up.

(Y/n) has always admired Benny and his friends's games of baseball from the sidelines. It isn't until a new kid moves into the neighborhood that she'll get to experience the true joy and excitement of being a part of the game. A summer full of baseball, fun, and love awaits.

But that all changes when Benny invites them over to play baseball with his group of friends at a sandlot. Attempting to fit in, Kimberly and Scotty end up joining them, and soon becomes companions with them. Kimberly Smalls was a quiet, petite girl who hated when her family moved into the Valley. Her face just never shown it. But now that she's making new friends with her younger brother along the way, she comes across a boy who will soon become the love of her life.
