Two doctors, one a neurologist and the other a pediatrician, are sent with a medical team to a high-complexity hospital in Phuket, Thailand, after winning a competition for an international medical mission. I gasp when her gentle small hand reaches my hair and start playing with it. "I don't know what I would do without you." I hum to myself, hoping she didn't listen. "Or what I would be. I've learnt so much from our relationship, God." She heard me, her hands travelled from my scruffy hair to my biceps and they stayed there, holding tight. "Wrecked, I know you would be nothing without me."
