Jason Kaczemarek is twelve years old when the dead start walking. After they witness the fall of Atlanta, his parents lose hope and leave him by the road to fend for himself. Later, he is found by two gruff-looking strangers who take him back to their camp full of more strangers, and they try to raise him in the cruel world they've come to know. This story will primarily follow The Walking Dead TV series seasons 1-11, with plot adapted to suit this universe better, and with lore adapted from the graphic novels and spin offs where necessary.
