Bucky Barnes was trying to recover from Hydra. The "Winter Soldier" was still buried deep within him, causing him to be cold and closed off. He didn't let people touch him, look at him too long, or even talk to him much. But then she inserted herself into his life. Nora Bennett has always been bubbly and outgoing. While everyone says Bucky's scary and rude, she sees him as quiet and hurt. She saw what Hydra put him through and never held it against him when he didn't what to talk or interact with people. Instead, she filled the silence, she sat next to him even when no one else would, she patched him up even when he insisted he was fine. And that's what made Bucky fall for her. He never would've thought he would fall for his complete opposite but she made it so, so easy.
