In order to avoid another summer at home of being interegated about his future and non-existent love life, Aris agrees to spend the months away from his friends and back with his aunt in Texas. While he expects nothing extraordinary about his time there, he meets a girl who may just change all the answers he gives to those questions he hates with a burning passion.

After watching the Scorch Trials I hated how the betrayal happened so I did my take on it. This begins where Thomas finds Teresa on the cliff. My first fanfic. Hope you enjoy!
