Welcome to the Honeycomb, a collection of thoughts expressed through essays on topics I find interesting in addition to what I like to describe as the shades of society: the good, the bad, and the ugly. The metaphoric composition of this work finds its aesthetics in the world of the bees as you will find parallels between our society and that of bees through words related to their domain (for example, beehive, nectar, honey, and hivemind). Each chapter represents a flower where you can collect and exchange nectar (our pieces of knowledge and points of view); the goal is to incite the reader to think critically and formulate their thoughts, the honey which you will eventually store in your brain, the honeycomb.

I haven't written poetry in a while, but I decided to try again. Hope you enjoy!

Every tribute has a story. Cato, on the outside, seems ruthless, murderous, terrible. You can't deny he's done terrible things. But it's what drives Cato, and his fellow tribute, Clove, to these extremes is what nobody knows. No one knows Cato's past--- what's transformed him, what's made him the killer he is. His story starts with an innocent, baby boy. And through a behind-the-scenes transformation, otherwise known as several years in an isolated area of the district, Cato, and Clove, become killers. But is there anything behind both their facades?

This is a collection of original poetry about everything. This is mostly for my peace of mind, but I hope someone else will also enjoy it. I write to make a difference even if that means ruffling a few feathers(: thanks to everyone who dives into thought with me. I hope you get something out of it.
