Salt & Honey is a collection of poems about the beauty and ache of being human. Through themes of love, loss, healing, and hope, each piece blends the sting of salt with the sweetness of honey, capturing life's bittersweet moments and the strength found within them. Inspired by my great-grandma, a woman who always saw the positive side of everything, strong as a rock, ready to forgive, always giving. Thank you for everything! We'll meet in between words and say bye with the sunset.

a collection of thoughts i probably would not say out loud. things i notice about people. things i miss. things i pretend not to care about. opinions no one asked for. questionable decisions. memories that come back at inconvenient times. tiny existential crises. movies that changed my brain chemistry. songs i have accidentally built entire personalities around. i write about growing up, love, loneliness, identity, creativity, friendships, strangers, being perceived, being misunderstood, wanting everything and sometimes wanting nothing at all. mostly, i am interested in people and why they do the things they do. the conversations we replay in our heads. the people we wonder about long after they have left. the strange little moments that somehow end up meaning everything. somewhere between a diary and a conversation with someone i have never met. written anonymously because some thoughts are easier to tell strangers. consider this the table in the back of a cafe that probably does not exist, where the conversation gets a little too personal.

This book is not about success. Not about relationships. Not about advice. This is a voice. The voice of a woman who is tired of being a function. Who has realized that strength is not a cause, but a symptom. Who has stopped apologizing for her silence and for her anger. There are no fictional characters here. There is her. And her monologues. About everyday life, about death, about love, about instant noodles, and about how to stay alive when everyone around you expects you to be "convenient." If you have ever felt that you are loved like a ladder - as long as you bear the weight - this book is for you. Living loudly is not about noise. It's about honesty.

Love means different things to different people. This collection is simply another way I see it. Some poems may remind you of someone. Some may remind you of yourself. This is basically going to be exactly what the title says. Some will be poems while others will be whatever I'm thinking. It may also include some rants if I am unable to talk to anyone around me at the moment, I will try to let you know if I'm ranting before I start the chapter. (EDIT: I feel as if I should let you know that many of them can be depressing as that is what I was feeling when I was writing. If you are feeling depressed I encourage you to reach out and ask for help. You don't have to suffer alone even if you may feel that was. And if you feel like no one is willing to listen then tell me, I will listen.) This will not be updated on a regular basis. Please do not post hate comments, although constructive criticism is always welcome and encouraged. Don't forget to vote. TW: There are mentions of depression and anxiety in some of the later ones.
