A marriage tale or is it.... a cackle emits from nowhere... Or even a love story....a giggle emits from nowhere

It's the secret to life, Perkins! Treat it with respect." Caleb made me do a drum roll before he leaned in and began to whisper. "My grandfather told me..." Caleb murmured. "A cup of coffee a day keeps the doctor away." My nose wrinkled with disappointment. "That's it?" "That's it." "You got me all excited for nothing." "It's the truth!" "I think you just ruined this date." Caleb smirked. "I thought it wasn't a date." I felt a blush creep up my cheeks. "Oh, shut up." Caleb's eyes gleamed as he picked up his thermos of coffee and took a long sip. "Alright, Perkins. Alright."

Just a collection of short poems that I wrote.

How would you feel if you were fighting against time to be saved from a life threatening illness? The clock ticks as time nearly runs out, will you be saved?

I wrote this two years ago, when I had been bored out of my brains staring at the clock on my wall. I had ended up spending quite a while focusing on it's movement and imagining certain scenarios happen in just seconds. My inspiration for this poem came from this scene of boredom. So, thank you Mr. Clock!
