Tyler or Tye is a develomental disabled teen who finds his first and only friend when he is protected from bullies by a girl named Leah. Everyday he spends as much time with her as he can. When they finish school in their sophmore year, Tye doesn't see Leah for the whole summer and he feels like his world is falling apart. Tye is in love with Leah and he desperately wants her to know.

She's kind to everyone, she has lots of friends and is always smiling. But, no one knows that she is plagued by constant betrayal, sadness and isolation. Ace Maddox is the quiet, tattooed and pierced recluse of his highschool. No one speaks to him, teachers and students the like. He spends most of his time in the library, isolating hinself from the world. They both are strangers with one vital commonground: loneliness.

Everyone reacts different to the unknown. Some stress till their hair falls out. Others ignore it. Most spread rumors about it. How will Amaya react to her life being flipped upside in an instant?

Life can be tedious when you live in a little town in Oklahoma. Zach has grown up with the same people, sights, and town all his life.
