This fic is heavily inspired by the comic 'Found Family' by sha.biest on Instagram. I asked permission to use their story and they said that I could. In the first chapter, there will be a link to their account and their comic/art. All art and story plots go to sha.biest and the characters belong to their rightful owners. While the story will contain bits of the comics, it will ultimately have quite a few differences.

Two months after the defeat of the Super Shredder, another old problem returns. The Kraang are planning another invasion of New York City, because the universe can't give the poor turtles a break. They had planned to take out Kraang Prime, however something goes awry. Instead of the portal taking them to Dimension X, they end up in another dimension so similar and yet so different from their own. Can the Hamato brothers return home in time to stop the invasion and save their city, or will they br trapped in this magical neon hell for the rest of their lives? That might be known as 'DeadMeat' now. Why couldn't Mikey save him in time? What happened to Leonardo? Is Leonardo really dead? There was so many questions, "Mikey?" Raph whispered quietly, gently resting a hand on Mikey's shoulder. But all Mikey's response was. . . . . . . . . . "I - I couldn't save him. . ."
