Vince is sus and brings out the machine. maybe they were too hesitant too allow the group of Gru to come to their place??? frypan is embarrassing of his dad. stop being so judgy°! then there is tbe biggest issue. there is Syndrome flying over the horizon he has red hair. swooped. he is angry. t Thomas doesn't know what 2 expect from his old buddy. and after his journey in the 1 book, their is much drama to be unfolded. lies and defeat envade the place and digging up the past, as Gally and Aris decide 2 do, is maybe not so smart. the dinasours are not as freidnly as maybe they would hope. unfortunate, Jenson has let out a pack of loose kranks onto the place and has set the howling to the place. ava Paige is divided between locals. does she help her son Thomas, or will she help her own cause and be a selfish old crow? Jorge begins dating Barb, creating a barrier between his daughter teresa and b him. and teresa needs him with the stress if the baby. but maybe Lucy and her pocketbook are just what the place, nd everyone on, needs. and whats more, the old man. More appreciation for the most underrated character of the series

In order to avoid another summer at home of being interegated about his future and non-existent love life, Aris agrees to spend the months away from his friends and back with his aunt in Texas. While he expects nothing extraordinary about his time there, he meets a girl who may just change all the answers he gives to those questions he hates with a burning passion.

She was from Group B-an "original," one of the first thrown into the Maze and left to survive. Escape was never part of the plan. Not for her. Not after everything she'd seen. But somehow, they made it out. Now, she's been relocated to a so-called Safe Haven-a sterile facility that is said to be their reward for surviving. But nothing about it feels safe. Aris, the only other survivor from her group, doesn't trust a word they say-and after a new group of boys bursts in with warnings of lies, manipulation, and something far worse lurking beneath the surface, neither does she. One of the boys stands out amongst the chaos. There's something in the way he looks at her-like he's seen the same horrors, like he understands her in a way no one else has. And no matter how much danger they're in, she can't seem to stay away.
