Y/n has always been Hiccup's best friend. She has also always calmed the dragons around her, yet no one knows why (yet). She is the "sister" of Astrid Hofferson, and she was found at a young age by Alin. However, when Hiccup shoots down a night fury finding another at its side a secret is revealed about y/n. This series covers the entirety of the first movie and introduces "Dragons Riders of Berk." I also decided to give Astrid's parents names, they are Ferguson (dad) and Alin (mom) her name is pronounced Ah-lyn. Anyway! This is placed in the beginning of the first httyd movie as the teens are about to start dragon training. Here Cloudjumper took both Hiccup and Valka with him. Hiccup was the first one to not threaten him, and Valka -also not threatening- was the babys mother witch he couldn't leave the baby without. And so Stoick was left alone in his burning house with no family left.

A rider wearing a hood rode on a dragon. Following the Dragon Riders from Berk. Her Whistlewing was riding on a gust of wind, her wings straight and true. Gray and white scales on its body almost made the dragon vanish into the clouds. The wingtips had several patches of bluish green and black. The wind died down, no longer hiding the low whistle caused by the Whistlewing. One of the riders riding the Zippleback glanced up, easily spotting the wing markings. The leader, who was none other than Hiccup Haddock, raised his eyes, and his Night Fury locked eyes with both the rider and her Whistlewing. "So much for being subtle." The rider mumbled. Time to find out whether Whistlewing can outfly a Night Fury, Deadly Nadder, Zippleback, Monstrous Nightmare, and a Gronkle. Oh, Thor.

Hiccup is tired. Tired of being forced into the role of Viking Chief, tired of feeling like he has no control over his destiny as everyone he knows expects and wants him to be chief of Berk, tired of a stupid Green Brat trying to drive a wedge between Hiccup and his twin brother Kai, and most of all tired of feeling like his passions and desires have no real purpose since the Grimborne's defeat. So when the Ninja come to Hiccup asking for his help and offering the chance to go to Ninjago? To explore an entire new land and culture with his friends? To finally help his brother? Hiccup doesn't hesitate to say yes. What follows is an adventure with stakes higher than the fate of dragons, but the fate of Ninjago, good, and their very ways of life hang in the balance. This mission is tough, but the riders are ready to give their lives to help the Ninja save the day. Because as everyone knows. Dragon Riders never quit!

He'd think you were lying. However, that seemed to be anything but a lie here. Having been a bit too far out on one of their solo flight when accidentally stumbling upon the land. Now he knew exactly how toothless felt as the roles of this land were kind of reversed. However, this too brought so many questions. What were they going to do? What other secrets did this place hold? And how would this dragon & human duo survive in the land of Pyrrhia?| (Extra info): Did I make this because I got a bit dragged into the wings of fire Fandom? Yep. Plus, thought it was a cool concept to work! This will likely have long chapters and slow updates, but probably not that big of a difference with time updates like with any of the fic's I've made before. But as for where each story takes place? For httyd the start of the 2nd movie, and as for wof, the first book, some time before the dragonets escape attempt! But anyway, enjoy!

You have likely seen it all before, Hiccup gets chosen to kill the Monstrous Nightmare but instead of staying to try and prove to his village dragons aren't the monsters they think they are, he leaves. Abandons the world he knows for a world of possibility, a world where he can be him, be free. What if he is one day discovered by a group of dragon riders and chose to join them as they had adventure after adventure. It would be a good life but of course it would never stay so happy, things would change sometimes for the better sometimes for worse. Old scars would surface, old lives reappear and new faces vanish, how would this affect him. Well shall we find out? I don't own the How To Train Your Dragon franchise of course and this is all done for fun. You know the legal stuff. I also don't own the image, I got it off of google as one could expect. For now the story isn't Mature though this may change in the future as I continue so I will make sure to change that if it becomes necessary, just an early warning just in case I break a guideline.
