Ryū was just a broke underground gamer grinding life out one match at a time as Nebula, while secretly raising his sick little sister in a world where mana is as common as breath. Then Xerion stops being just a game. The system wakes up, announces a "god-level trial," and suddenly every player is thrown into a living version of it. Monsters, dungeons, powers-everything becomes real, and the survivors don't just log out... they come back changed, carrying abilities into the real world.
Now the world is breaking into something new, governments scrambling, players becoming weapons, and society adapting to this impossible anomaly. Nebula vanishes without a trace... and in his place, a new rising monster of a player appears under the name Ciel. Calm, efficient, almost unfairly good. But as the strongest begin to notice the patterns, one thought spreads quietly through the chaos-if Nebula is gone, then why does it feel like Ciel is already at the top of the same throne?
